...and so I think of taking a break from the drawing board and every lounging surface is claimed by some of my pals! Can you see all 4 ? A regular "Animal House" I tell yah !

I was inspired by a little cove I recall on the Big Island to paint this wondorous piece of escape. I took shells, a couple of old glass net floats and made a tiki from an old palm tree log. I fantasized of living on the beach forever in a hut made from things found on the shore.This painting illustrates the way I would have realized that fantasy....

This is a piece I painted titled "A Return Once Promised" inspired by the many loves that are separated by a long period of time. Whether it be war, or whatever the circumstance may be....the glow from the moon will light this ship back into the safety of this castle that will soon be filled with joyful cries of love reunited.

So I think I am going with at least these two color combos for the Ultraviolet painted Jolly Rogers. These almost look 3D in person. Can't wait to bring them to Don the Beachcomber next month. It's so damn fun to paint with light! ~THOR
